720 Shop Management — Last updated July 12, 2026
720 Shop Management is a shop-management software platform operated by Automotive Diagnostics LLC (“we,” “us,” or “Company”). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when shops (“Shops”) use our Service, and how data about a Shop’s own customers is handled.
From Shops (our subscribers): account details such as name, business name, email, phone, login credentials, and subscription/billing information (payment card data is handled by our payment processor, not stored by us).
Customer data entered by Shops:Shops use the Service to store information about their own customers and vehicles, which may include name, phone, email, address, vehicle details (year, make, model, VIN, mileage), and service history, as well as photos a customer submits at a Shop’s request (for example, a photo of a license plate or VIN used to identify their vehicle). For this data, the Shop is the controller and we act as a processor on the Shop’s behalf.
Usage data: basic technical and usage information needed to operate and secure the Service.
The Service can send transactional, service-related SMS messages to a Shop’s customers — for example, a secure payment link, a link to review and approve an estimate, or a notification that a vehicle is ready. These are sent only to customers with an active repair order whose number was provided to the Shop.
How customers opt in (consent / Call to Action). A customer opts in to text messages by providing their mobile phone number to the Shop and agreeing to receive transactional messages about their repair order — in person when they drop off their vehicle for service, or by phone when scheduling. At that time the Shop discloses, and the customer agrees, that they will receive service-related texts such as estimate-approval links, secure payment links, and vehicle-ready notifications; that message frequency varies with repair-order activity; that message and data rates may apply; and that they can reply STOPto opt out or HELPfor help. The customer’s consent is recorded on their record in the Shop management system. Providing consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.
These are transactional messages only — we do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.Message frequency varies based on repair-order activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Mobile information and messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing.
To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any message; you will receive one confirmation and no further texts. For help, reply HELP or call (219) 902-9605.
We share information only as needed with providers that help us operate the Service, including: Stripe (subscription billing and card payments, including in-person via Stripe Terminal), Twilio (SMS), Intuit/QuickBooks Online (optional accounting sync for shops that connect it), Anthropic (AI processing — for example, reading a license plate or VIN out of a photo a customer submits; under our API terms, Anthropic does not use this data to train its models by default), our email provider (transactional email), and our hosting and database providers. Each processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not sell personal information. A current list is at 720shop.com/subprocessors.
We retain Shop and customer data for as long as an account is active. If an account lapses (the subscription is canceled or unpaid) and is not reactivated, the account and its data are permanently deleted after approximately 60 days, following an email notice to the Shop — unless a longer period is required by law. Shops may request export or deletion of their data at any time.
Data is stored using reputable cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit, access controls, and per-Shop data isolation. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.
Shops may view, update, export, or request deletion of their information at any time. If you are a customer of a Shop and wish to access or remove your information, please contact that Shop directly, as they control their own customer records; we will assist the Shop as their processor.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
